A naval officer was killed on Friday after a fire broke out onboard aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya while it was entering harbour in Karnataka's Karwar. Lt Cdr DS Chauhan, who led the firefighting efforts in the affected compartment, lost consciousness due to the smoke and fumes from the blaze.
