The Election Commission (EC) on Tuesday said that the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir will be considered to be held later this year. "After taking inputs from all the necessary quarters and conclusion of Amarnath Yatra, the schedule for conducting the assembly elections in the state will be announced," it added.
