6-12 hour gap between ATM withdrawals?
The Delhi State-Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC) suggested measures to prevent rising ATM frauds at a bankers' meet. It suggested a time lag of six to 12 hours between two transactions. Bankers suggested including a one-time password-linked withdrawals to alert account holders in case of an unauthorised withdrawal as well as having a centralised ATM monitoring system.
