Union minister Amit Shah at an event said the election of Modi as PM in 2014 was the beginning of the end of politics of appeasement and the 2019 mandate is to end it forever. He said criminalising triple talaq establishes gender equality and it could be done due to the will power of PM Modi as he equated him with the country's leading reformers.
