Assam parliamentary affairs minister Chandra Mohan Patowary, has said that the government will provide legal support to the Indian citizens not finding a place in the NRC list. He added that people who have been left out don't need to panic as they can appeal in the foreigners' tribunals. In the final list of NRC released on Aug 31 over 19 lakh have been excluded.
