RBI hikes PMC Bank withdrawal limit to Rs 10,000
In a move that will allow 60% of the troubled Punjab & Maharashtra Cooperative (PMC) Bank’s depositors to withdraw their entire balance, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has hiked the withdrawal limit to Rs 10,000 from Rs 1,000 earlier. The limit will apply to savings account, current account, term deposits or any other account.
