When questioned about the timeline for the release of political prisoners in Kashmir, Farooq Khan, advisor to Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik said: "Yes, one by one after analysis of every individual, they (leaders) will be released." The leaders of J&K political parties were placed under detention following abrogation of Article 370 by Centre on Aug 5.
