Four soldiers and 2 civilian porters were feared dead after their 8-member patrol was hit by an avalanche in the northern part of Siachen Glacier-Saltoro Ridge region on Monday. The 6 soldiers from the Dogra Regiment and 2 porters were on their way from one post to another when the avalanche struck them at a height over 19,000-feet in the Northern Glacier.
