Hot & humid? It just might be saving India from coronavirus’s worst
ndia’s weather may have been acting as a shield against Covid-19, which has already taken more than 2,600 lives across Asia. The high temperature and humidity could be making it difficult for viruses to survive and remain potent. But experts have not ruled out the possibility of a ‘silent transmission’ of nCoV in the country, which might have disastrous consequences.
