The Covid-19 pandemic turned grimmer in Delhi with 384 new cases reported on Saturday, the capital’s highest rise in a single day, even as fresh cases across the country crossed 2,500 for the first time. India also saw 99 deaths from the virus in the past 24 hours, again the highest number reported so far.
