Desecration of Gandhi statue: US envoy apologises
"So sorry....Please accept our sincere apologies," wrote US ambassador to India Kenneth Juster in a tweet apologising for the vandalism and desecration of Mahatma Gandhi's statue situated outside Embassy of India's office in Washington, DC. Sources told ANI that local Police have launched an investigation and suspects involvement of unruly elements during anti-racism protests.
