An Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) modelling study recently published in Lancet has stated that single dose vaccination of 75% population in a 30-day period was found to substantially reduce mortality by up to 37% and symptomatic infections by 26% in a district witnessing the beginning of another Covid wave.
