Mumbai: Rain leads to waterlogging, train services hit
The heavy downpour has caused waterlogging in several parts of Mumbai including Malad-Jogeshwari, Eastern Freeway and Vile Parle-Bandra belt and Bhandup-Mulund belt, leading to traffic snarls. There was traffic congestion near Gandhi Market during morning peak hours as a container truck was stuck under the Kings Circle Rail bridge since midnight. Few southbound buses were diverted via Bhau Daji road to clear the traffic congestion.
