Leaders of 15 opposition parties attended Rahul Gandhi’s breakfast meeting before they pedalled on bicycles in a show of solidarity to Parliament on Tuesday morning. While this may be a positive development for the opposition, there were at least 10 parties who remained absent. Without them, the opposition is unlikely to put up a united front against the BJP-led NDA in the 2024 general elections.
