Harish Rawat has been relieved as the Congress' in-charge for Punjab and Chandigarh. He has been replace by Harish Chaudhary with immediate effect. Rawat had met Rahul Gandhi earlier this week and urged to be relieved of his responsibilities in Punjab to allow him to concentrate on Uttarakhand, that also goes to polls next year.
