Explained: What happened with IRCTC shares today
Shares of Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corp recouped most of their early losses. It closed 7.45 per cent lower at Rs 845.65 on the BSE and 7.74 per cent down at Rs 842.8 on the NSE. The stock had plunged as much as 30 per cent in early trade on Friday, following an order by the ministry of railways which required IRCTC to share 50 per cent of its revenue earned from convenience fees from November 1.
