With the government preparing to get Cabinet approval of its decision to repeal the farm laws in its next meeting on Wednesday, the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) – joint body of farmer unions leading current protests – on Sunday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to immediately resume talks on the farmers’ six demands including legal guarantee to procurement of crops at minimum support price (MSP).
