Saving grapes from the heat, one saree at a time

Prashant Holkar, a farmer from Lasalgaon village, Nashik has come up with a unique solution to save his grapes farm from the intense heat of the sun. Holkar has covered his 3.5 acre farm with more than 5000 colourful sarees. Holker bought the sarees from Pimplegaon market at the rate of Rs 25 per piece and he had to spend Rs 1.25 lakhs to save the yearly yield.
