‘Stealth’ variant found in 79% of Omicron samples in Punjab
The BA.2 sublineage of heavily mutated Omicron variant of Covid-19 that has fuelled the current wave of infection in many countries has become the most commonly found variant in Punjab.Omicron’s subvariant BA.
