Equity indices rebounded sharply on Friday amid broad-based buying across all sectors, a day after crashing to nearly 2 month low. The 30-share BSE index jumped 1,534 points or 2.91 per cent to close at 54,326. While, the broader NSE Nifty settled 457 points or 2.89 per cent higher at 16,266.
