NIRF Ranking 2022: The National Institutional Ranking Framework has released the ranking today for the top colleges in India. The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has topped in the ranking of Engineering colleges in India. This is the third time in a row when IIT Madras has retained the best position among all. The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced this year’s ranking for the National Institutional Ranking Framework which is known as NIRF or NIRF India rankings. The ranking is finalized according to their performance on several parameters that include learning and resources, research and professional practice, outreach and inclusivity, graduation outcome, and perception. The ranking is prepared based on the subject domain and the type of institute- overall, college, university, engineering, medicine, dental, pharmacy, law, etc. In medicine and pharmacy, Delhi based institutions AIIMS and Jamia Hamdard retained top position in the respective categories.
