A very senior BJP leader ruled out Azad joining the party. On the condition of anonymity, he said, “The BJP nullified Article 370 of the Constitution not to instal a Muslim as the Jammu and Kashmir chief minister. The BJP declared Jammu and Kashmir as a Union territory (UT) and got delimitation of its constituencies done not for installing a CM from Kashmir. There will be a Hindu CM from Jammu.”
