Wearing a seat belt at the rear has now become mandatory in Delhi. According to various media reports, the Delhi Traffic Police yesterday issued 17 challans to people who failed to wear seat belts at the rear seats. The offenders faced a penalty of Rs 1,000 each, said the police official.
