12th-century Kannada inscription found in Latur village
The popular 9th-century Kannada work Kavirajamarga describes 'Kannada land' as the one spread between Cauvery and Godavari rivers. Now, a newly discovered Kannada inscription from the 12th century seconds it by describing a Chalukya king ruling from Godavari basin.
