The Hapatkhud Kangdori area in J&K’s Gulmarg where a monster avalanche hit on Wednesday killing two Polish tourists had been declared a “no-go zone” due the possibility of an avalanche following heavy snowfall two days ago, sources said. Baramulla SSP Amod Nagpure said a probe has been ordered into how the tourists were allowed into the perilous pocket.
