Karnataka: BJP helps SDPI member become panchayat prez
T Ismail, who was elected with the backing of Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), has been elected the president of Talapady Gram panchayat with the support of members backed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Dakshina Kannada district.
