The wireless charging technology developed by WiTricity, uses magnetic resonance to facilitate the transfer of power between a charging point and an EV. It includes two resonator devices, a source resonator (charging pad placed on the groundt) and a device resonator (built into the EV), the system works on the principal of resonant coupling.
