DA hike, power tariff relief: Punjab CM's Diwali gift ahead of polls
Ahead of Diwali, Punjab chief minister Charanjit Channi on Monday announced an 11 per cent increase in dearness allowance for government employees, saying, it will cost Rs 440 crore extra to the state exchequer.
